The original Zero, the result of the collaboration between 7Hz and Crinacle, made history-it is one of the most powerful entry-level IEMs on the market. Crinacle is a world-renowned tester whose frequency graph database has forever changed the audio market. Taking advantage of his extensive experience with the sound profiles of IEMs and headphones, Crinacle has again provided guidance on tuning the Zero to achieve the best possible sound balance. The updated Zero:2 includes inputs from Crinacle, with the goal of refining this proven model and taking it to the next level.
More bass, with consistent tonal excellence
The original Zero featured one of the best tone ratios in its class for an inexpensive IEM with single dynamic driver. However, this balanced sound was accompanied by a damping of the bass-which may have been too little for listeners looking for a more energetic sound. The Zero:2 maintains the perfect sound profile while expanding the low frequencies by 3 dB. This creates a gripping, powerful bass playback that brings your music to life. Bass impact and bass extent are significantly improved and provide more structure and haptic presence in the depths. In addition, the mid-tone range is characterized by a slightly fuller, warmer sound compared to the original zero. The subtle warmth in the lower midrange gives instruments and vocal frequencies an all-round fuller sound-without bass losses and keeping the melodies clean.
New 10mm Dynamic Driver
The improvements in the sound characteristics of the Zero:2 were made possible by a newly developed 10mm double-chamber dynamic driver. With an improved PU-metal composite membrane, the driver is characterized by a significantly higher responsiveness, which allows faster membrane movement. This achieves a more powerful bass, while maintaining clarity and precision on each note. With a frequency range of 10Hz to 20 kHz, the improvements of the new driver are immediately noticeable.
Improved special cables
The 7Hz X Crinacle Zero:2 was equipped with a new high-purity silver-coated Oxygen Free Copper cable. Arranged in coaxial structure, each core bundle consists of 140 × 0.06mm and 250 × 0.06mm strands for reinforcing the cable, as well as for achieving better audio delivery. The cable is detachable to customize your listening experience and extend the life of your in-ear monitors.
