1.Is it a laser or an LED?It is a real laser. Although it looks likean LED (all small square SMD), its luminous principle and optical characteristics are fundamentally different from that of an LED.
LED: The divergence angle is large (about120°), the light is stray, and the coherence is poor.
VCSEL: The outgoing beam is perpendicular to the surface of the wafer, the beam quality is extremely high, with high coherence and narrow spectral bandwidth (the light is very pure).
